Which camera is used by the KickTheMap app?

When configuring your HaX RTK in the KickTheMap app, it is necessary to know which camera of your mobile device (if you have more than one) is used by the application in order to enter the camera height in centimetres. Two methods are possible:

  • Create a fake job in the KickTheMap app, once the main view is initialised, run your finger in front of each lens of your mobile device. When your finger makes the KickTheMap app dark, you know it is the main camera.
  • Look in the user manual of your mobile device to check which lens is the main camera. This is usually the camera with the smallest field of view.
